A vehicle burglary occurred at the Stanford golf course between 2:45pm and 3:30pm on 8/31/2020. An unknown suspect broke a window to gain access to the vehicle and stole property.

At approximately 3:45pm, a Stanford University Department of Public Safety (SUDPS) deputy saw a vehicle that matched the description of a vehicle associated with a vehicle burglary that occurred on 8/25/20. The driver of the vehicle appeared to notice the patrol vehicle and then proceeded to violate traffic laws. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle for the vehicle code violations. The driver of the Lexus failed to stop and began driving recklessly, so the deputy did not continue to pursue the vehicle.

The vehicle that was driven recklessly was a black, 4-door, 2006 Lexus IS 250. The vehicle license plate is California 5VOK956. The vehicle has a modified/ loud exhaust. Below is a picture of the vehicle:
