AlertSU Test Notification

Date: Thursday, October 18th, 2018
Time: 12:00 PM

On Thursday, October 18th, between noon-12:30 pm, Stanford University will conduct its annual test of the campus AlertSU system. Alert messages will be sent via text message and email to the Stanford community. The test also includes the activation of the outdoor siren system and VoIP speaker phones.

In the test message, you will be asked to click a link to acknowledge or confirm that you have received the message. This is an important step which will help us monitor the success of this test. If you receive both a text and email, you only need to acknowledge one of the messages you receive.

Prior to the test, it is important you verify that your contact information is correct in StanfordYou and Axess for students. Make sure there is an entry in the mobile phone field as this is the most rapid and direct way of communication with you during an emergency.
