The Stanford University Department of Public Safety exists to provide a safe, secure environment that respects and encourages freedom of expression, the safe movement of people, and the protection of life and property, while upholding the United States Constitution and federal, state, and local laws and ordinances. The members of the Stanford University Department of Public Safety are committed to providing high quality public safety services with a strong emphasis on customer service. To accomplish this goal:
