R.O.O.T.S.
- It is the RESPONSIBILITY of every employee to understand and fulfill the requirements of their position.
- Employees who take complete OWNERSHIP of their positions do so by constantly striving to go above and beyond the basic responsibilities that are expected.
- Every contact presents an OPPORTUNITY. An opportunity to serve, to provide assistance, to positively influence the way in which people view public safety. Employees can not only react to opportunities but also create them. Once an opportunity arises, employees can now exercise the skills and knowledge they have obtained.
- Public safety requires TEAMWORK. Teamwork with one another and teamwork with the community we serve. When we work together, we produce better results.
- Identifying and pointing out problems does not fix the problem or make it go away. In order to provide the best possible service to each other and to the community, propose SOLUTIONS to the area where improvements are needed and can be made.
