The Stanford Dish trail's public access hours varies depending on the time of the year.

Dish Area Access Rules
The Dish is private property of Stanford University, dedicated in perpetuity for the support of the University's academic mission. Visitor permission to enter is contingent on adhering to these rules and any directives that may be given by authorized personnel.
Visitors must stay on recreational routes designated by trail's post and carry out all refuse. Visitors are not permitted entry during closure periods which are published online and posted at public entries.
All state and local laws and ordinances apply. Rules are enforced and permission to enter may be revoked at any time. Persons violating these rules are trespassers subject to prosecution.
